C. Nelson (b. 2004, Oregon) is a painter and printmaker currently studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, GA. His work is grounded in an appreciation of research with a drive to communicate the complexity of human perspective. Nelson has been recognized as a spotlight artist in the 2025 SCAD Savannah Fine Arts Showcase. He was awarded third place in the 2025 Alexander Ink Showcase (SCAD Savannah, GA) and selected as a finalist for the 2025 AXA Art Prize (New York, NY). While pursing his education at SCAD, he has worked as a print monitor and a master printer in Lithography. Nelson anticipates graduating spring 2026 with a BFA in Painting.
